Oregon has a beautiful wine country, the Willamette Valley. We rented a house in Forest Grove, about 45 minutes outside of Portland and in the middle of the wine country. We spent one day wine tasting and checking out the scenery. We took the kids and they played outside while some of us sampled the wine at various wineries. We missed my mom and Zack in the picture:(
The wineries were beautiful!
We also got to spend an all adult day wine tasting with Matt and Amy which was a blast.
In addition to the fabulous wineries, Portland has tons of independent breweries too. We had some time to sample a lot of good local beers while grandma and grandpa played with the kids.
