We had a fun morning at the pool and as soon as we put the kids down, my mom said she wanted to get to the lagoons and it sounded like a perfect idea to me. Grandpa hung out while the kids slept and we walked down to lagoon 1. We found loungers and relaxed and caught up. It was nice to chat in person without kids! The weather has been promising rain and although we got some sun, we also experienced quite a downpour. It worked in our favor though. We ran to the bar and grabbed a drink and in no time it was sunny again and finished our drinks by the pool. Eventually, we figured we should go back and rescue grandpa but it was a great way to spend the afternoon hanging with my mom!
