Abby's 2nd birthday was filled with all of her favorite things! We started off with fish and ice cream cake for dinner as she requested (the evening before).
Lots of Dora books, DVDs and play-doh presents from her awesome grandparents! She was so excited.
We had her 2 year check up, which she was so excited for since she got a doctor's kit for her birthday. She got shots and was not too happy about it until I pointed out that she got a cool sticker and she stopped crying and looked down and said, "OOOHHHH!". Hilarious! She is tiny but healthy. She is 34 1/2 inches tall and weighing in at a whole 22 1/2 pounds (she gained 3 pounds this year), which Matt and I can't believe since she can out eat us for breakfast!
After her doctors appointment , we met daddy at the playground for a picnic and lots of slides.
We had to do a little "shopping"- another one of her favorites and stopped in for frozen yogurt at Menchies. She has never been before so when we walked in her eyes lit up and she yelled "Ice Cream!". She got to choose her flavor and picked peppermint... We all joined in and it was pretty good!
Our last stop of the evening was the pet store and she loved looking at all the fish.
Abby had a jam packed birthday month so far and now that her birthday is over Christmas is around the corner. We are going to have to wean her off presents and sweets in January.
