Roy's with The Rev

My Uncle Mike,"The Rev" married us and has always been very special to Matt and I.  He comes to Hawaii yearly for a getaway and we always go to Roy's- not a bad tradition.  It has been years since we have been to the one in Hawaii Kai since it is quite a trek but it tis the original and Mike really wanted to go so we couldn't say no.  We had a fabulous dinner, great wine and the best company.  It is always great to spend time together and catch up.

As we were eating fish and indulging in wine and the infamous chocolate souffle, the Buelows had the kids for the night.  This is Steph's email that recaps the evening...I love it and of course the picture of all the kids in their matching PJs since we both bought them after Christmas last year in anticipation of our little ones being here this Christmas.

Everything is great!  The kids were easy during dinner (they were all strapped into a "device" ;)  Dylan in swing, Abby, Gavin and Zack in high chairs.  I actually fed Dylan while the others ate then had time to eat myself.  Bathed Z, A, and G all together and when I took Z out to get him dressed, Mark took D and put him in.  I got Z asleep and now D is "napping" in the swing.  Abby and Gavin watched a little Grinch.. probably not the best before bed ;)  Mark is putting Abby to bed as we speak and now we just have Gavin awake..
Honestly, it was busy but easy!  Everyone was great ;)  Enjoy your night!
